You can find Project COPE in the city of Lynn in Massachusetts. This is a residential recovery center that supports women in recovery from a drug or alcohol use disorder. Along with residential care, you’ll also have access to outpatient services that can help you continue your path to recovery, whether you’re stepping down from a residential program or are seeking ongoing care.
This program accepts Medicaid and Medicare. They are state licensed and operate under the larger organization, Bridgewell. Through this organization, you can get connected to other health and human services that will improve your health and wellness.
The services at Project COPE on Johnson Street are rooted in community. You’ll be encouraged to build meaningful relationships with the other women in the program. You’ll find that this program is on the smaller side, with the capacity to serve 25 women at any given time. This can help you feel more at ease, ‘cause you won’t feel overwhelmed or intimidated as you start your residential treatment.
You’ll be supported through individual and group counseling sessions here and other therapies. Through these sessions, you’ll be encouraged to reflect on your life choices, emotions, triggers, and other experiences that have contributed to your substance abuse struggles.
Past clients have overwhelmingly shared how positive their experience here has been. One past client shared that they spent seven months in this program and it changed their life. They said it was an amazing program and they’d recommend it for anyone serious about getting sober.
