Prototypes Women’s Center operates under HealthRIGHT 360. It’s a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Pomona, California. They offer detox and residential treatment to women and their children who suffer from substance use disorder. They treat dual-diagnosis clients who have mental health conditions and also struggle with addiction issues.
This facility is a non-profit organization. You must receive Los Angeles County MediCal or MyHealthLA in order to receive treatment here. You will be given a full medical and mental health assessment upon entry.
You will be assigned a case manager who will guide you through the entire process of rehab. You will be treated with both group and individual therapy. The therapeutic method you will be treated with will depend upon the results of your assessment.
Most of your treatment will be given in the form of group sessions, They have language-specific group sessions as well as age-specific sessions here. The majority of people feel the most comfortable discussing intimate issues with people they have the most in common with.
In addition to evidence-based treatments, they use some experimental therapy here such as acupuncture and art therapy. They also have recreational activities for children and bonding exercises for parents and children.
They have family therapy sessions as well. Letting your loved ones know how they can help you in recovery is essential to preventing relapses.
Once you have finished inpatient therapy, you can go into an outpatient program. Your case manager can assist you with finding 12-step meetings and housing assistance.
