Providence Little Company of Mary Medical was a drug rehab center located in Los Angeles, California. They’re closed now but they treated teens and adults struggling with alcoholism, opioid and drug addiction and co-occurring conditions. They offered drug detox, inpatient drug rehab and outpatient services as well as aftercare support.

Detox is meant to help an individual safely detox from a drug or alcohol addiction with the support of medical professionals. The inpatient program allowed an individual to completely separate from outside triggers and distractions to focus on their recovery and receive round-the-clock care from medical professionals. This program involved individual therapy and group therapy.

Unlike inpatient clients, outpatient clients typically have less severe cases of addiction and can still properly function in their home and work environments. However, this program still includes therapy and counseling sessions weekly and is effective in the path toward sobriety.

Once an individual had successfully detoxed and completed a treatment program, aftercare support continued to ensure that the individual could shift back to their lives as comfortably and safely as possible. These services included educational resources about medication and sobriety.
