Hackensack Meridian Health is the largest nonprofit integrated healthcare organization in New Jersey. The organization has 18 hospitals, including the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. The hospital offers multiple services including cancer, heart, and wound care. Carrier Behavioral Health at the Raritan Bay Medical Center offers treatment for substance use disorder (SUD) and co occurring mental health disorders. The facility accepts insurance from many major providers, including TRICARE and the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network.

The behavioral health center offers unique treatment services not available at all mental health centers. These services include electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). These are neuromodulation therapies designed to stimulate the brain in cases of treatment resistant mental health issues.
