Recovery Resources – Pearl Road in Cleveland, Ohio, is a facility that provides treatment for various addictions including drugs, alcohol and gambling. They also provide services for those dealing with mental health issues. The rehab facility focuses on helping clients through prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery. They’re partnered with the MetroHealth System which allows them to provide help with both behavioral and physical health needs. Along with behavioral health counseling, Recovery Resources also offers medication management services, community psychiatric treatment services and intensive outpatient care for those who have dual disorders. Additionally, clients can receive medication assisted treatment and be treated through the partial hospitalization program if that level of care is necessary.

Some of the services in the outpatient program include trauma treatment, mental health evaluations and group and individual counseling. One thing I like about this location is they’ve created a program designed for women struggling with addiction. It consists of in person group therapy, and the facility offers transportation services to help clients get to appointments. Drug screenings are required in order for individuals to participate. Before participating in outpatient treatment, some clients may need to go through withdrawal by undergoing medication assisted treatment. The medications Recovery Resources uses for medication assisted treatment are buprenorphine and naltrexone. Both medications are effective at reducing the withdrawal symptoms and cravings.

In outpatient treatment, clients will be educated on triggers, risk factors and coping skills. Those who are in the intensive outpatient program will receive treatment services at a higher frequency and duration.

Recovery Resources provides help with housing by offering 55 housing units available for clients to rent on a sliding fee scale. They also assist clients with employment by providing job seeking skills training.
