About Rim Family Services – Lake Arrowhead
Rim Family Services, located in Skyforest, California, provides counseling and supportive services for individuals and the families of people who are currently in recovery from substance abuse, or who have recently completed a drug rehab program. They offer a variety of drug and alcohol-free activities.
Rim Family Services offers an Aftercare Group for people who have completed drug addiction treatment. Group counseling and discussion topics, such as triggers and relapse prevention strategies, are combined with support and encouragement for the recovery journey. The group is facilitated by a Registered Addiction Specialist. Meetings are held once a week.
Drug education classes are offered for at-risk teens. Classes take place at the Rim Family Services offices and at area schools.
Support groups for family members of individuals who are in recovery or have completed addiction rehab treatment cover topics such as understanding addiction, enabling and how to rebuild relationships.
Rim Family Services accepts government grant funding and self pay options on a sliding fee scale. If additional addiction recovery services are needed, clients will be referred. Many private insurances such as Aetna, BlueCross/BlueShield, Humana and United Healthcare will cover some or all the costs of recovery services that are deemed medically necessary. Contact your provider to verify coverage, as out of network benefits can vary.
