About Road to Recovery – Atlanta, Georgia
A behavioral health hospital, Road to Recovery has operated in Atlanta, Georgia since 1995. It offers a wide array of mental health and drug addiction treatment options, all of which are tailored to meet the patient’s specific requirements.
One notable service they offer is their outpatient substance abuse treatment program. They offer group therapy for those with substance abuse issues, available both in-person and virtually, and the sessions are held in English and Spanish.
Besides outpatient group therapy, Road to Recovery offers a variety of other services for the community. This includes the risk reduction program which is called the Atlanta-DeKalb DUI School. You might have to take this course if you’re charged with a crime related to substance use like DUI or possessing drugs or alcohol while driving. They offer all of their courses in English and Spanish, covering a total of 20 hours over a weekend class schedule.
The mental health and behavioral health programs here include diagnostic evaluations as well as one on one counseling and couples’ counseling. Your mental health can play a powerful role in your recovery so counseling will help you better understand and address the reasons why your addiction developed.
