About Safe Harbor – Prescott
Safe Harbor is a 12-Step-focused narcotics anonymous (NA) addiction recovery program for adolescents and adults in Prescott, Arizona. They offer community-based, peer-directed services, including gender-specific and dedicated services for young adults, seniors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and persons with co-occurring disorders.
Clients at Safe Harbor engage in extensive, peer-directed group counseling. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public. Clients may access group sessions 365 days per year, including evening, night, weekend, and holiday meetings. Clients also receive one-on-one recovery coaching from a self-selected sponsor.
Safe Harbor embraces a 12-Step model of recovery rooted in a stages-of-change approach to healing. Clients participate in robust, recovery-focused life-skills training to facilitate physical, psychological, social, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Safe Harbor’s addiction counseling and recovery education programs are available at no cost to clients. However, peers may refer clients to paid addiction treatment. Many major insurance plans, such as Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, cover mental health and addiction recovery services.
