If you need help breaking the cycle of addiction, Seafield – Outpatient can help. They have five outpatient facilities and one residential facility. Their Riverhead, New York facility offers outpatient substance abuse treatment for clients over the age of 13. They speak English and Spanish at this outpatient clinic.

They have a range of medical and clinical professionals that specialize in addiction treatment. You’ll have access to the expertise of an acupuncturist, nutritionist, certified addiction counselors, spiritual counselors and fitness instructors.

Seafield offers medication assisted treatment, DWI services, parenting skills, anger management and relapse prevention groups. I like that they also offer many family supports for those whose loved one is dealing with addiction. They involve the whole family. They’ll work with family members to answer questions as well as address enabling behavior. They’ll learn how to cope in a healthy way and how to practice consistency. Seafield will recommend programs that can support your family such as Families Anonymous.

They are contracted with most insurance providers. They’ll do their best to get your policy to cover their services. If you aren’t covered, their self pay rates are reasonable and provide a sliding scale where needed.
