Second Chance Sobriety Homes provides recovery assistance for people healing from substance abuse in San Jose, California. The goal is to help you transition back to your community without the temptation of substance use. You’ll have a safe, secure setting to thrive and gain more independence.
Guests never need to worry about crowding issues with Second Chance Sobriety Homes. They don’t make extra bedrooms from rooms that weren’t intended for that purpose. You’ll find a spacious, honest environment that encourages a family setting rather than merely roommates. The sober living homes are safe and comfortable for your short or long term stay.
Second Chance homes are run by individuals who are in addiction recovery. They understand how difficult recovery can be and the unique challenges you face. They provide accountability to ensure you get the most benefit from the program and remain substance free while in the home.
You’ll have a strict curfew, group check-ins, mandatory drug and alcohol testing and 12 Step meetings. House managers also keep the communication lines open with compassion so you always feel comfortable sharing any issues you may have.
Although they encourage you to follow the recovery model that works for you, they also have high expectations. You must remain sober and attend recovery based meetings of your choice. You will work with a sponsor, addiction therapist or counselor to help you stay substance free.
Being part of the household means you are responsible for chores and helping others keep the home tidy. You’ll pay your monthly fees and receive instructions from the House Manager and Assistant House Manager. Guests stay anywhere from 30 days to one year.
Supportive substance-free housing during the transition back to daily life.
