Travel time ranges from 20 to 30 minutes when driving to the facility from these nearby cities. Wichita Transit serves this route as well. And you may not even have to worry about transportation because the facility provides transport to and from the treatment.

Once you arrive at the facility, their care team will welcome you and proceed to conduct an assessment. They’ll inquire about your history with drugs or alcohol, your lifestyle and your medical history.

This assessment forms the basis of your personalized care plan crafted to help you achieve specific goals and get your life back on track. If your assessed needs can’t be met at their facility, they’ll refer you to another provider within the community that can better help you. That said, treatment is delivered mainly in a group setting. They offer both general outpatient and intensive outpatient groups. The latter is better if you’re seeking more structured care.

Gender and age specific groups that address the unique needs of each gender and age demographic are available as well. Their co-occurring disorder group treatment supports those struggling with substance use and mental issues simultaneously. They also offer substance abuse education, peer support services and family groups. They’re proud owners of Common Grounds, a community run recovery coffee shop where 12 Step meetings are held regularly.
