About Southern Iowa Mental Health Center – Ottumwa
In Ottumwa, Iowa, on the western side of the Des Moines River, you’ll find the Southern Iowa Mental Health Center (SIMHC). They specialize in providing mental health services to adults and children, and part of their behavioral health care includes programs on dealing with addictions.
They’re covered under most major private insurance plans as well as Medicaid and Medicare. They also offer patients the ability to pay for services in cash and may extend discounts and a special hospital scholarship plan where the need arises.
