Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare – Gibson Regional Services

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. has been offering addiction treatment and supportive services for over 35 years. They have multiple Indiana locations, including this facility in Princeton in Gibson County.

The Princeton location offers outpatient and community based treatment options for substance use, co-occurring mental health disorders, and childhood disorders. The facility accepts traditional Medicaid, Medicare, and many types of commercial and private insurance.

The facility is less than two miles from the historically significant Gibson Courthouse and Courthouse Square. There’s shopping, dining, and a thriving scene of locally owned businesses and shops. Providers at the facility offer treatment based on the Matrix Model. The outpatient program is intensive and meets three times a week.

Also included in the program are peer support services, family education, education classes for individuals, and case management services. Clients may receive individual therapy to work through their emotions, history, and thoughts. In individual therapy, you’ll collaborate with your therapist to find customized strategies and solutions to enhance your recovery.

One of the nice things about this organization is the number of services they offer. In addition to the addiction and recovery services, clients can access child and family services, including referrals for residential treatment if necessary.

The community services are available for all age groups and include access to programs such as parent child interactive therapy and WRAP services, which are comprehensive, family centered services.
