During MAT, FDA-approved medications are combined with mental health counseling to address the mental, physical, and emotional aspects of addiction. The medications are evidence-based and proven to effectively reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, increasing the likelihood of success in recovery. Counseling services help individuals learn new skills while they process emotions that have perpetuated their addictive tendencies.

The outpatient program offers individuals an opportunity to engage in mental health and physical health screenings to better understand their situation and create a plan of action. The outpatient program also provides a wellness program to address sleep hygiene, nutrition, and smoking cessation. Therapy is available in an individual or group format. Clients also may receive assistance with finding employment, housing, child care, and legal services.

Spero Health accepts most insurance plans, including Amerigroup, Magellan, ComPsych, Aetna, Beacon, Wellmark, United Healthcare, and more. Out of network benefits may vary, so it’s important to verify coverage with your provider prior to starting treatment.
