About Springbrook Outpatient Center – Holiday, Florida

The Springbrook Behavioral Hospital was located in Holiday, Florida. The center provided a partial hospitalization program for adults who are 18 years and older. They accepted major insurance plans including TRICARE and Westcare. If you did not have insurance, then payment was due at time of service. They were also able to work with you and create a monthly payment. I like that they offered plenty of payment options that included major credit cards, cash, money orders and checks.

The program provided counseling for both psychiatric and substance abuse patients. If you needed more than traditional outpatient treatment but not as a high intense inpatient hospital program, then this could have been the right program for you. You did have to attend sessions five times a week. I do like that they provided meals at lunch time that were healthy.

The staff conducted evaluations and screenings to make sure this program was the right one for you. In order for consideration to be admitted into the program, they had to determine that you were medically stable and able to benefit from everything the program offered.

Licensed therapists conducted the substance abuse groups and the psychiatric groups. You would attend weekly psychiatrist sessions. The therapist would help you develop your aftercare and discharge plan. They also provided care coordination and crisis intervention.

Although this location is closed, they have a center in Brooksville that can assist with substance abuse disorders.
