Saint Francis Center has programs for folks who are transitioning out of homelessness in Denver, Colorado. Their day services provide assistance such as showers, phones, mail, storage, clothing, phone charging and more. This center serves over 600 guests each day.

Some services may be first-come, first served. Others may be given in exchange for doing one of the chores at the center. They have set hours when services are available.

Their wellness office provides physical and mental healthcare such as substance abuse counseling, interventions and referrals. You can also get ear acupuncture to help with stress and substance cravings.

They also offer paid social services. These let you meet one-on-one with staff to get some help with all sorts of questions and needs. For example, how to get bus fare, help getting IDs, understanding forms and other paperwork and more.

They also have art and music programs, writing and employment support. Other services are available through Saint Francis Center’s community partners.

Though their service hours are specific and rigid, this probably helps them stay organized and help many people efficiently.
