Some of the more unique healing modalities used in the program include yoga, gardening, and meditation. Additionally, you’ll participate in traditional therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the 12 Step model of recovery.
The center in Yonkers offers specialized care tailored to your needs. If you have opioid use disorder, you may need medication assisted treatment (MAT). MAT is also given to some clients who wish to quit smoking. Additionally, the program includes individual, group, and recreation therapy.
The hospital participates in the HYI to address community health concerns. The program promotes healthy behaviors and disease prevention while empowering individuals to take better care of their families and themselves.
