Suncoast Center is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in St. Petersburg, Florida. They treat people for substance use disorder (SUD) on an outpatient basis. They serve people who are in the justice system. They also treat people with concurring addiction issues and mental health issues.

A trained staff member will give you a full intake assessment that will last anywhere from two to 2.5 hours. They will base your treatment on the results of this assessment. You will have evidence-based group and individual therapy.
They offer forensic assertive community treatment. This is a treatment method for people in the criminal justice system who have severe behavioral health problems. Clients who are treated with this system often have SUD.
They teach the potential legal and personal consequences of drug use in this program. The therapists use cognitive behavioral therapy to teach you how to think differently so you can change behaviors that are hurting you and those around you. They have a staff member who has been through the criminal justice system and can advise you on what life is like in prison.
All clients are assigned a case manager who will stay with them every step of the way. They also have peer support specialists who have struggled with substance use disorder themselves. They can guide you to community resources for housing and employment. They will also be there for emotional support when you need it.
