About Tempo Group – Syosset, New York

The Tempo Group Counseling Services is a nonprofit community outpatient alcohol and substance abuse treatment facility located in Syosset, New York. They offer services for adolescents and adults with substance use disorder. There’s individual, group and family therapy that creates personalized treatment plans to meet your recovery needs.

Another service offered by Tempo Group is medication assisted treatment. This treatment option has been shown to decrease relapse and help individuals in early recovery with withdrawal symptoms and cravings using FDA-approved medications.

They understand that alcohol and drug addictions not only affect the individual but loved ones and significant others as well. They offer a significant other support program recognizing that when individuals have the support of family and friends, recovery is more sustainable and successful. This program helps equip them with education and coping skills to help break the cycle of addiction.
