About The Center – A Place of HOPE – Edmonds
The Center – A Place of HOPE is a private luxury mental health treatment center located in Edmonds, Washington, in a secluded neighborhood. There are several treatment programs that include mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
The center takes private pay of which the cost varies depending on the level of care and amenities you choose. The facility also accepts insurance from most providers. They don’t accept state funded insurance programs or HMOs. They do offer financing options through CareCredit.
There’s an emphasis on privacy and security for people who have a high profile in their community. If you’re a celebrity, performer, church leader, athlete or other high profile person, they’ll work to ensure your anonymity.
When you commit to the program, you’ll have a minimum stay of five days. Most people stay two weeks or longer. You’ll start with an initial exam that includes physical and psychological assessments. They’ll give you a custom treatment plan based on your situation.
The plan addresses any issues you’re having such as alcohol or substance use, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, eating disorders, compulsive behaviors and other stressors such as burnout. Along with psychological and dependency issues, you’ll get a health and physical exam to include a fitness assessment.
Clients stay in private suites with numerous amenities. The programs offer healing opportunities from the trauma of sexual and emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual assault and date rape. From eating disorders to anxiety, you’ll work to get to the root of your unhealthy coping skills to build a better foundation for balanced mental health and physical fitness.
There’s also a track for men with eating disorders. Most eating disorder programs focus on women only, but men also suffer from eating disorders. The programs are for adults of both genders 17 and older.
There are also spiritual renewal programs for those experiencing stress or burnout in their ministry. You’ll have a chance to renew your relationship with God while dealing with chemical dependency or mental health issues. You’ll learn about processing trauma and how to love yourself so you can be there for others.
One former client cited the one on one programs as valuable and influential in his healing. Other clients felt their stay was one of the best experiences they’ve ever had.
