About The Haven Of Rest Women’s Life Recovery Program – Battle Creek
The birthplace of the cereal industry, Battle Creek, Michigan also features The Haven Of Rest Women’s Life Recovery Program. Established in 1956, The Haven Of Rest spreads the gospel message while providing temporary shelter and meals for people experiencing homelessness and other life challenges. This program offers a safe space for women and mothers to step away from obstacles and hone in on addiction recovery.
You can participate in their program for six to 12 months. Throughout care, you’ll learn to overcome substance abuse and other hurdles while strengthening family relationships.
They provide a whole person approach focused on physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual healing. You can participate in individual and group therapy, spiritual counseling, physical fitness training, community resource referrals, and more.
What stands out most to me is their children’s ministry. Your child can participate in nourishing activities as you complete counseling and life skills sessions. They provide a range of exercises for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children.
Of these activities, their Gain Access Program really caught my eye. This track for K-12 kids offers homework assistance, life skills classes, faith-based lessons, social skills building, personalized case management, and more. Your child will benefit from a supportive environment with guidance tailored to their unique needs.
Many former clients enjoyed their services. Most mentioned a compassionate staff with beneficial approaches that helped them turn their lives around. Recovery is a unique experience. Be sure to research and consider multiple treatment centers to find the best fit.
