The Healing Place – Louisville Men’s Campus provides addiction and mental health treatment services to patients in the Louisville, Kentucky, area. The facility provides nonmedical detox services, residential alcohol and drug treatment programs and transitional living housing for patients who successfully complete the residential course. This location specifically treats men who are 18 or older.
One amazing aspect about this clinic is that they offer their residential recovery program and detox treatment to clients for free. Since there are no costs for any part of the program, the clinic doesn’t accept Medicaid, Medicare, or any insurance. Instead of worrying about the financial aspects of getting better, you can focus on your recovery.
When you choose to recover at the Healing Place using the long term residential method, you’ll first experience the “Safe Haven” two week period that will consist of around 80 educational courses and 12 Step meetings. Patients are housed in the facility, so the community that’s built here becomes paramount to each person’s recovery. Next, you’ll begin learning the SOBER180 curriculum and develop the skills necessary for long lasting change.
The clinic can also work with patients to develop an outpatient treatment plan if they are not able to commit to inpatient care. The facility offers intensive outpatient care, peer support, case management and individual counseling.
Another great thing about this facility that helps provide lasting results is the Peer Mentor program. Once a patient completes the residential treatment process and is in recovery, they can serve as Peer Mentors for newer members to the program. You can teach programs and work one on one to help others recover just like you did!
