About The Providence Center – Women’s Roads to Recovery – Richmond
Women’s Roads to Recovery is a women only residential rehab facility operated by The Providence Center in Wyoming, Rhode Island. The organization has been providing mental health and substance use services to the community for over 50 years. Clients can pay for their services through Medicaid, Medicare, insurance or a sliding fee scale.
The facility is conveniently located 30 minutes away from Providence, Rhode Island. As you reach the completion of your inpatient treatment, you can start enjoying recreational activities such as reading at Roger Williams Park or enjoying a nice walk downtown at Waterplace Park.
The staff at Women’s Roads to Recovery includes peer recovery coaches, counselors, and case managers. Trained clinicians will work with you to develop both a personalized treatment plan and a discharge plan.
At The Women’s Road to Recovery, the staff members will help with issues that are common with women who’ve struggled with substance use disorder. These issues include trauma and domestic violence as well as pregnancy health. Trauma and domestic violence are known to increase the risk of an individual developing an addiction.
Your counselors will use evidence based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to help heal you of those issues and support your overall recovery. Along with individual therapy sessions, you’ll participate in group therapy sessions where you can receive encouragement and insight from your peers.
Additional services available at the facility include housing services, vocational services, and access to primary care. The staff is ready to assist you in all areas of your life so that you can have the best chance of achieving long term sobriety.
