Making yourself go to rehab is hard. You may get halfway there and chicken out or you may have drugs in your system and not be able to drive yourself to rehab. They have safe transport drivers to take you to rehab. They can also take you home when you get out. That way, you will not be tempted to by drugs or alcohol on the way home.
