Starting Point is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults in Haddon Township, New Jersey. They provide mental health and addiction recovery services through outpatient programs including education, referrals and community resources.

Something unique about this facility is that their recovery treatment is based on a series of support group meetings. You can come here almost any time of day and find a meeting that caters to your needs. Most of the groups are based on the 12 Step model of recovery. Some of them cost money to attend, but there’s also a free lecture series held every Wednesday at noon.

This free class is led by the center’s founder. During the meeting he shares healthy coping techniques that can help you deal with life’s stresses and challenges. You can attend in person or online.

In addition to classes and meetings the center also offers referrals and connections to local community based resources that can help you or your loved one recover from chemical dependency. More than 35 counselors have their offices here and many offer services online or over the phone.
