About Transitions – Covington
Transitions is a comprehensive drug and alcohol rehab in Covington, Kentucky. They provide residential addiction treatment, an intensive outpatient program, targeted case management, and a recovery housing program.
In the intensive residential treatment programs residents participate in individual, group, and family counseling, psychoeducation, mental health care, recreational activities, and wellness activities.
The intensive outpatient program offers treatment sessions three days per week for three hours per day, totaling nine hours of treatment per week. During the IOP participants meet with case managers weekly and also take randomized drug tests. Following residential treatment and the IOP, individuals move on to aftercare. The aftercare program consists of continued one-on-one counseling and weekly groups facilitated by Certified Peer Support Specialists.
Targeted case management is provided to individuals in the community who may need assistance with barriers to recovery like medical care, mental health support, daycare support, food stamps, housing assistance, and other state-funded benefits.
