The first phase includes the most structured and rigorous routine of their programs. You’ll have therapy sessions, recreational activities and health and wellness training for a complete continuum of care.
Case management is available to help guide you through the program. Care managers help you build a healthy diet, sleep and exercise routines to improve your health and well being. This program sets a solid foundation for your recovery.
You’ll have an evaluation where a primary therapist and psychiatric provider are assigned. You’ll attend individual and group therapy sessions which include proven methods like dialectical behavior therapy to help you improve thinking patterns and actions and learn to be present in the moment. You may work on developing healthy coping skills, recognizing substance use triggers to avoid and learning relapse prevention strategies for the future.
Residents have support staff available around the clock to ensure their needs get met. Recreational activities that help with exercise and enjoyment are included. Guests go hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, attend concerts and sporting events, go deep sea fishing and go on snowboarding trips.
Amenities include a basketball court, gymnasium and music studio sessions. You’ll have a chef who prepares three healthy meals each day, and snacks are available. The fitness center boasts numerous resistance training machines and free weights for working out.
You will attend support groups at night for ongoing recovery efforts. Once you complete the program you can move to the next phase of treatment.
