About Turnbridge — Westport Outpatient Treatment Center – Westport
Turnbridge Westport, formerly known as Clearpoint Recovery Center, is an outpatient addiction and mental health treatment facility in Westport, Connecticut. It’s located on Kings Highway North, right near the Saugatuck River. The levels of care available to clients include standard outpatient services and the intensive outpatient program.
The intensive outpatient program at Turnbridge Westport will give you a similar level of care as inpatient substance treatment while accommodating your schedule. You’ll have the option of choosing to either do day or evening sessions. Clients will participate in up to 15 hours of individual and group therapy sessions, family support, and medication management.
The group sessions you’ll participate in will be small and focus on topics such as relapse prevention and coping skills. Clients will be surrounded by peers who can offer encouragement and provide insight based on their own experiences. Additional services offered in the program are transportation assistance and aftercare planning.
Turnbridge Westport is not from a variety of beaches in Connecticut. Outside of your treatment session, you can take a trip to Compo Beach and spend a day relaxing in the sun or swimming in the ocean.
The facility also offers an intensive outpatient program for adolescents. Counselors will use dialectical behavioral therapy to help clients and their families learn how to manage their emotions and cope with stress. Counseling and psychoeducation will also be provided to help with improving the client’s interpersonal relationships.
