Located in Sandy, Utah, Turning Point Centers has alcohol and drug rehab services for adults. They provide residential care and several outpatient programs, depending on the level of service you need. They address your addictions and any underlying mental and behavioral health disorders.

The residential program has several aspects that treat the mind and the body. There’s counseling to improve communication and build your confidence. There are also holistic therapy, like meditation and yoga. Parenting classes, trauma therapy, and improved nutrition are also ways that can help your recovery.

After your residential stay is complete, you can downscale your treatment to partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, or a general outpatient program, or even all three. It depends on how much additional care you need. You’ll stay with the same program and work your way towards independent living.

You’ll have greater flexibility as you progress so you can get back to your normal work and family routine. Art therapy, shame resilience classes, meditation and mindfulness classes, life skills training, conflict resolution classes, and learning about self-care are parts of the continued care package.

If you need extra help recovering and supervision, you may be eligible for transitional living. You’ll have a structured day that includes group counseling, recreation, sports, and job training. That way, you’ll be with your peers as a team and cheer each other on.
