Turquoise Lodge Hospital

Turquoise Lodge Hospital, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a drug rehab for young adults and adults with children and/or are in child custody disputes, and pregnant and postpartum women. The center features medical detox, inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare services.

Clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. Medical detox consists of FDA approved prescriptions, such as methadone and buprenorphine, to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients are supervised 24/7 to prevent relapse. Detox typically lasts 5 to 7 days.

After detox clients transition into an inpatient program which generally lasts up to 30 days. Clients participate in social therapy, group and individual counseling, and holistic care. Community and family services are available to build life skills and healthy daily living routines.

In the intensive outpatient program clients meet several times each week for three to six months. Clients receive peer support, hone their coping skills, and address co-occurring symptoms.

Turquoise Lodge Hospital offers continual care and services. A crisis hotline is available 24/7. Referrals to outside facilities and programs may be available.
