About Twin Lakes Center Outpatient – Johnstown
You’ll discover Twin Lakes Center Outpatient, part of UPMC Western Behavioral Health, in the city of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This outpatient rehab center provides a full range of substance use treatment services for both teens and adults. All of the programs currently offered by Twin Lakes Center Outpatient were specifically created to address both co-occurring mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
There are several levels of outpatient care that an individual can seek from Twin Lakes Center Outpatient. First is their adult intensive outpatient program. This program was created to offer therapy sessions several times throughout the week.
Some of their programs provide nine to 19 hours of treatment every week. Having multiple therapy sessions throughout a week allows each individual to get help learning and developing new coping strategies as they begin the process of their recovery.
Not only that, but it also allows a lot of insight into the trauma and underlying psychological problems that a person is having that may be contributing to their substance use.
That isn’t all that is offered at the Twin Lakes Center. They also offer teen and adult outpatient services. They recognize the close relationship between mental health and using substances. Since Twin Lakes is so focused on healing at all levels, they also provide family therapy as well. The family therapy sessions allow everyone in a person’s family to work towards goals, heal and find resources to help grow and heal from addiction.
Twin Lakes Center accepts several different payment methods. Since they are a part of UPMC, Twin Lakes Center Outpatient takes Medicaid, self-pay and private insurance for payment.
