The Baltimore VA Annex is part of the Baltimore VA Medical Center. They specialize in homeless veteran care alongside mental and substance use disorders. They’re home to the Community Resource and Referral Center. They’re situated at West Fayette Street near Jones Falls Expressway in downtown Baltimore, Maryland.

The clinic is a few blocks from Light Rail and Metro Subway Stations for easy transit access. Additionally, several MTA Bus Routes have stops along Fayette Street. They even offer shuttle services for veterans coming to or from appointments. Baltimore VA Annex accepts Medicaid, Medicare and TRICARE.

Baltimore VA Annex offers substance use care as part of their confidential outpatient mental healthcare. They’re also well-equipped to tackle joint mental health issues and substance use disorders. Specialized services are available for homeless veterans and victims of sexual trauma and PTSD. Outpatient care involves evaluations and therapy in group and individual settings to build practical skills and prevent relapse.

Baltimore VA Annex provides tailored services for homeless veterans or those at risk of homelessness via CRRC. This new walk-in program links vets to financial assistance and planning, employment or vocational rehabilitation, and housing placement. It encompasses primary medical or dental care and medication management. Eligible veterans are also provided with basic necessities like showers and laundry services, clothing, and meals. They may receive education and life skills development like computer training. The goal is to equip veterans with skills that foster independent living.
