About Valley Sober Living – Mt Diablo House – Stockton
Valley Sober Living – Mt. Diablo House is a sober living home for men in Stockton, California. It is a two-story house in a great location just a short walk from grocery stores, fast food spots and other essentials. It is also close to Victory Park which has lots of green space, and the Haggin Museum as well as the Alano Club, where people can attend Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. The San Joaquin Delta River is nearby for fishing and birdwatching, and there are also parks like Louis Park and Pixie Woods for more outdoor activities.
Each home has a house manager who is there to support and guide residents. They follow a 12 Step program to help people stay on track with their sobriety. House managers also plan activities so residents can connect and build a sense of community.
The house is set up to be comfortable and convenient. Every location has WiFi, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Residents are surrounded by a supportive group of people who understand what they are going through.
What stands out to me is their alumni program which keeps past residents connected and part of the sober living family. It is not just about getting sober but also about having a strong support system for the future.
