Vitality Integrated Programs Reno (VIP) is a nonprofit organization offering addiction treatment and mental health services in Reno, Nevada. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Reno is known for beautiful outdoor spaces and a community focused on wellness, making it a great place for anyone who wants to make a fresh start. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE and many private insurance plans, and sliding scale fees are available for clients without insurance coverage.
VIP Reno is one of four of their Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC). They provide comprehensive healthcare to clients of all ages. They also provide specialized care for veterans and active duty military. VIP prioritizes family involvement as they recognize the important role loved ones play in the recovery process. Their peer support program can help you connect with others who understand your struggles. The sense of community and shared experience is great motivation to stay the course with recovery.
VIP operates as a true one stop shop for recovery and wellness. Using a practice without walls approach they offer addiction counseling, medication assisted treatment (MAT), peer support, life skills training and primary healthcare services. Their comprehensive care model means you’ll have everything you need all in one place.
Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides approximately 53 hours each week of group and individual sessions. Your treatment plan will include personalized addiction counseling. You’ll also learn strategies to prevent relapse. You may also participate in anger management counseling. The length of the program is personalized to fit your unique needs.
Crisis support at VIP Reno is unique and not something many outpatient treatment centers offer. If you’re in crisis you can walk in during business hours and be seen the same day. There’s also a 24/7 crisis line, and if needed, staff can meet you wherever you are. For more serious situations they partner with the Washoe County Mobile Outreach Safety Team to provide the right care. Clients who reach out for crisis support receive a follow up call within 24 hours.
