Medical detox can last anywhere from three to 11 days. Once you’ve completed the detox process, you’ll be able to begin residential treatment services to get to the root of your addiction issues.

Your day in residential treatment will typically begin with morning yoga or a daily devotional before breakfast. Most of your time will be spent with your peers in various group sessions such as process groups, adventure therapy, and holistic groups.

Along with learning skills for recovery, you’ll participate in outdoor activities to build your self confidence and participate in stress relieving activities such as mindfulness and art therapy. When you’re no longer in treatment, Los Angeles offers numerous relaxing spots to practice yoga and mindfulness, such as Griffith Park and Point Dume State Beach.

In the evening, your day will end with support groups, roundups to process the day, and social activities with other clients. When you reach two weeks before your discharge, Vogue Recovery Center staff will start preparing you for life after treatment with an aftercare plan based on your progress.
