About Volunteer Behavioral Health – Cumberland Mental Health Services – Hendersonville
Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System serves the Tennessee community. The Henderson location offers an addiction recovery program, outpatient therapy, psychiatric medication management, telehealth and supervised probation offender treatment among other things.
Their outpatient program for addiction and co-occurring disorders helps you gain the skills you need to live a healthy, sober lifestyle. Treatment might include group, family and individual therapy sessions. Having your family involved in your recovery is important. Whenever possible, your family will be involved in your treatment.
They have a general and an intensive program. You’ll get the same level of care at both. But the intensive version has more therapeutic hours per week. In this option, you’ll meet three hours a day, at least 3 days a week. Ongoing support after you finish treatment is available once you complete the intensive outpatient program.
Opinions of this clinic are mixed. Many former clients complain about not being able to get a hold of anyone on the phone or having appointments canceled. Lack of professionalism is also a common complaint.
