Wayside Youth & Family Support Network – Lincoln Street

Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is an accredited human service provider serving young adults, children and families across central, eastern and northeastern Massachusetts. The MetroWest Community Services is one of their service locations in Framingham offering outpatient counseling, intensive care coordination and family support.

They offer mental health counseling and family support services alongside residential therapeutic and educational programs. Services may include individual therapy to address underlying emotional issues and build practical sober skills for relapse prevention.

They may coordinate care with other providers to ensure well-rounded support and smooth transitions in your treatment. They also offer advocacy, budgeting & household management and vocational assistance. Additional services encompass childcare assistance, parenting support and guidance and transportation aid. Referral is provided for aftercare support. Funding and referrals for these services mostly come from the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and insurance providers.

Wayside’s family support program is facilitated by a Family Partner. These experts have extensive knowledge of community or county resources from their personal experience and can help families better manage crises.

They help families take the lead in care planning, focusing on the unique strengths and needs of the family. They support caregivers in understanding systems like special education, medication, and diagnoses while connecting them to valuable resources.
