About WestCare – CA Correctional Institution – CCI – Tehachapi, California

WestCare provides acute detox and crisis stabilization services. Medical and mental health professionals provide and monitor medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and refer clients to other appropriate services and programs.

WestCare partners offer residential programs with services that include group and individual counseling, case management, education and vocational assessments, placement and retention skill services, education, and intervention services to support their substance use treatment.

Outpatient services through WestCare and its partners include drug education and relapse-prevention classes, individual and group counseling, community-based self-help meetings like AA and NA, and other community referrals. Transitional housing and offender re-entry are also available. Many outpatient services are available with rural telehealth visits as well.
