About Western Judicial Services – Cocoa
The Western Judicial Services of Brevard County was located in Cocoa, Florida. They were contracted by the Florida Department of Corrections and Federal Probation. They serviced over 80,000 offenders and helped rehabilitate them. However, they’re locations in Brevard County are currently closed.
They had a couple of other sites around the state. However, they offered the same types of care, depending on your status. Substance abuse treatment was available for adults and juveniles, as well as the life skills program. There were education workshops so that you could better understand your addictions and now how to defuse ’em.
For adults, they offered a drug court program, DUI alcohol treatment, and a job skills program. I like that they also included education for HIV/AIDS. To address other factors that might have fueled drug abuse, they also provided job training, education, and anger management. They also had classes for you to learn not to resort to violence. That way, you would have had healthier outlets to cope with frustrations.
Even though they’re closed, there might be other centers nearby that can assist you.
