Westwind Recovery is an addiction treatment center with multiple sober living homes offering treatment in Los Angeles, California. The treatment center’s mission is to provide a comprehensive, person-centered program that gives you the structure you need for recovery and in turn grows and nurtures a vibrant community. Their behavioral health treatment programs include multiple outpatient intensity levels, beginning with a traditional outpatient program when you struggle with a less severe addiction issue. They work with many of the insurance providers in the local area and will verify your insurance coverage before beginning treatment.

In their outpatient program you receive the necessary treatment while still maintaining your personal and professional responsibilities. An intensive outpatient program offers greater structure and intensity of care, typically including life skills, relapse prevention programs and learning healthier coping skills. Many people can continue their daily responsibilities at work or school while still receiving treatment.

Finally, their partial hospitalization program is the highest level of intensity, during which you receive treatment five days each week for up to six hours every day. You receive the same intensity level of care that you would get in a residential setting while still being able to return home in the evening.

They also provide mental health care that addresses your physical and spiritual condition as well. They take your overall health very seriously. This combination allows them to provide care for dual diagnosis when you’re struggling with mental health and substance use disorder at the same time. This provides an individualized and holistic approach, offering the best possible outcomes since these diagnoses typically exacerbate each other and require integrated and simultaneous care.

Their program includes holistic therapy options such as yoga and meditation, exercise therapy, nutritional therapy and massage therapy. It provides a whole person approach to healthcare, recognizing that there is a mind and body connection and you are not just a collection of symptoms.
