Women struggling with substance abuse can go to Home with Help – The Brighthouse. It’s a home with rules against substances being in the house. If you go to this home, you’ll be living in Lafayette, Indiana, down the street from Murdock park.
The location is pretty nice. The house is next to a main line and it’s also walking distance to downtown. It is close to the city, but you can still enjoy nature on the nature trails by the house. There’s plenty to do in the area including a zoo, which is not far from the house.
There are about 29 beds at the house so you’ll have a bunch of roommates. However, staff prepares hot meals for you and the other roommates throughout the week.
You’ll be able to partake in residential programs including a 12 Step program. Here, you’ll be able to talk about your experiences with others who are also in recovery.
Despite its location and the fact that it’s a sober house, people have mentioned that drugs are still easily accessible.
