About Women’s View-Psychological Center – Lawrence

Located in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Women’s View is one of three programs offered by The Psychological Center. At this location they offer a residential substance abuse program for women over 25 years old.

Women’s View hopes to help all their clients prepare to reintegrate into the community in successful and meaningful ways. Residents will learn life skills, coping mechanisms, anger management, food prep, relapse prevention and develop a sober network.

On-site staff are available 24/7 to offer support, therapy, case management, legal counseling and more. The program focuses on helping women become self-sufficient and accountable. Women’s View offers a four-tier system. Clients can change their level weekly so that red flags can be addressed before they happen.

When they are ready, residents will begin to work or volunteer in the community. This will enable them to begin to balance real-life scenarios with their ongoing recovery.

They offer an aftercare program to help alumni have a tether to the support network found through Women’s View.
