You will have a full evaluation when you first come in. Something I noticed about this facility is that all of the staff members are state-certified. They will determine the level of care you need and the therapy method that should be used to treat you. The evaluation can also help them find out if you have a mental health condition.
They offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) in which you will come in for therapy several times a week for several hours a day. They also offer a standard outpatient program (OP) in which you will come in once or twice a week for an hour. If you need residential treatment then they will refer you to another location.
Treatment includes both group and individual sessions. They have groups that are gender specific and those that focus on a specific type of drug. They also have groups that are geared toward relapse prevention. They treat people from all different backgrounds and the staff speaks both English and Spanish.
They offer family therapy sessions. This will give you the opportunity to discuss addiction issues with those closest to you. The therapist will moderate your discussions and offer suggestions for dealing with conflicts that come up as you go through the rehabilitation process.
