YAP offers outpatient and intensive outpatient programs for children and youth facing any mental health or behavioral health issue. Their counselors are trauma informed and culturally responsive. This helps children heal within the content of their environment.
Their intensive outpatient program includes many weekly sessions with your counselor. Each one of YAPs counselors are qualified to work with people who are experiencing addiction, eating disorders, depression, trauma, and most other behavioral health concerns. The intensive outpatient program is designed for those who can’t commit to a full time residential program, but need more support than a regular outpatient program provides.
YAP also provides support for adolescents and adults living with disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. These programs center on the importance of supportive relationships, intentional decision making, inclusivity, and being self assured. YAP also runs several initiatives that create alternative options to detention and incarceration for youths.
