About Rebecca Alvarez
Rebecca Alvarez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW). She focuses on family systems, case management, and the practical side of recovery, including insurance, aftercare planning, and finding the right level of care.
Rebecca centers the people often left out of the conversation: the parents, partners, and children affected by a loved one's substance use. She became a social worker because she believes no one should have to navigate the treatment system alone or in the dark. Her writing exists to make the next right step clear, whether that is verifying benefits, comparing programs, or simply knowing what questions to ask.
