About Nexus Sober House

Welcome to Nexus Sober House, where we provide a safe and exclusive structured environment for men looking to experience personal and spiritual growth. Our addiction treatment center will help those trying to re-enter society, with a comprehensive 12 Step Course. Facing drug addiction recovery alone is an indomitable task, but together it is something we can accomplish, and at the same time grow closer to each other with the hope and healing of recovery.

Nexus Sober House is housing, not treatment. A recovery residence provides a stable, alcohol- and drug-free place to live alongside other people in recovery, with the peer accountability and daily structure that research consistently links to better outcomes. Unless a home is a NARR Level IV setting or is separately licensed, it does not provide therapy, detoxification, medication management or medical supervision on site. Residents who need clinical care attend an independently licensed program of their own choosing.

Recovery Housing Works Best Alongside Clinical Care

A recovery residence is where someone lives while they attend treatment, or after they finish it. If detox, residential care, partial hospitalization or an intensive outpatient program is the piece that is still missing, start there — then use housing to protect the gains.

Before You Call

No. A recovery residence is peer-supported, substance-free housing. Unless a home is a NARR Level IV setting or is separately licensed by the state, it does not provide therapy, detoxification, medication management or medical supervision on site. Residents who need clinical care attend an independently licensed program of their own choosing while they live in the house.
Bed availability changes weekly and is not something a directory can report accurately. Call the home directly if a number is listed, or call our confidential helpline at 1-888-685-2199 and a specialist will contact the operator on your behalf, check cost and openings, and tell you honestly if a different level of support would serve you better.
You should be able to. Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorder that substantially reduce overdose death, and NARR, SAMHSA and federal disability law all support access to recovery housing for people taking them. Ask the operator directly how prescribed medication is stored and observed. A house that pressures you to taper off a prescribed medication is not a safe fit.
