The Graniteville House of Recovery is an adult women’s halfway house facility providing residential treatment for women recovering from substance use disorders. At Graniteville, residents experience a “home-like” environment offering protective and supportive elements of communal living. With a total capacity of 26 residents, each resident room has two-person occupancy. The typical length of stay for completion is three to six months. Pregnant (up to 36 weeks) and medication assisted treatment (MAT) friendly
The Graniteville House of Recovery is housing, not treatment. A recovery residence provides a stable, alcohol- and drug-free place to live alongside other people in recovery, with the peer accountability and daily structure that research consistently links to better outcomes. Unless a home is a NARR Level IV setting or is separately licensed, it does not provide therapy, detoxification, medication management or medical supervision on site. Residents who need clinical care attend an independently licensed program of their own choosing.
