The Palisades House is a transformative sober living experience designed to provide community, connection, and individual enrichment. By being part of a community larger than oneself, and drawing on the experience, stories, and expertise of others, our clients will learn what it means to be an active, participating, and contributing member of society. Our experience-driven program is designed to meet clients wherever they might be in their recovery journey. The environment, structure, and experiential activities will allow clients, and their families, to embark on a path of recovery unique to their needs, passion, and vision for oneself.
The Palisades House Men’s Sober Living is housing, not treatment. A recovery residence provides a stable, alcohol- and drug-free place to live alongside other people in recovery, with the peer accountability and daily structure that research consistently links to better outcomes. Unless a home is a NARR Level IV setting or is separately licensed, it does not provide therapy, detoxification, medication management or medical supervision on site. Residents who need clinical care attend an independently licensed program of their own choosing.
