About ABODE Treatment – 1700 South Cherry Lane – Fort Worth
ADOBE stands for Adult Basic Opportunity Development Environment. The owners and staff believe that substance use disorder is a progressive disease. ABODE Treatment is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in White Settlement, Texas. They provide treatment to people with substance and alcohol use disorder.
This location was part of the larger Adobe Treatment Organization which was named the best treatment center in Fort Worth by Newsweek Magazine in 2024. The facility on Cherry Lane serviced males aged 18-73 but closed in 2024.
They offered an outpatient treatment program that provided two group therapy sessions a week and one private session a month. Clients were treated from 6 to 12 months.
Treatment for people with SUD in the criminal justice system normally includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to teach you to think and behave differently. They also may use methods that steer a client away from criminal thinking.
Their current facilities offer the same program. They also offer some vocational training as this is an important part of recovery. Their goal remains to assimilate people into society in every area of their lives
The company was founded in 1994 as a residential treatment facility. It was established to help those in the criminal justice system. Research has shown that the majority of people in the justice system have problems with substance use. They began offering outpatient services in 1999. Four years later, they were officially accredited by the ACA.
Although their center on Cherry Lane is closed, ABODE has other centers nearby that can assist you.
