About Acacia Network – El Regreso Women’s – Williamsburg
Serving residents throughout the city and upstate New York who are struggling with addiction use or their mental health is the Acacia Network. This is a community focused network committed to helping residents lead a life of health and wellness. Their Brooklyn-based El Regreso Women’s center serves women who have a substance use struggle and need a safe and supportive place to live while receiving treatment.
El Regreso Women’s Residential program will connect you to a host of resources and supports that will guide your recovery. This includes everything from primary care to individualized and group counseling services.
You’ll also get referred to medication assisted treatment (MAT) if your circumstances require it. Aftercare referrals are also available when you’re ready to leave the program here.
Here, they go beyond just providing quality clinical care. You’ll also have the opportunity to get your life back on track while living at the facility. You’ll get connected to vocational and educational services that will bolster your overall skill set and ability to live independently.
You can also get help enrolling in benefits if you qualify, this will help minimize obstacles you might be facing like food, housing, or medical care insecurity. Through this whole person support, you can focus on working towards creating realistic recovery goals and putting together a plan of action that will help you meet those goals.
Brooklyn, as with the other neighborhoods in New York, is incredibly diverse. As such, you can expect to find culturally competent care here that recognizes the diversity in the clients served here. You won’t feel out of place or judged and you will be met with compassion through their trauma focused recovery approaches.
